The Trend Lord Indicator for MT4 helps you quickly identify market trends when they change, allowing you to spot opportunities for entering or exiting trades.
Introduction
After installing the indicator as usual, the Trend Lord Indicator MT4 will display vertical bars in window 1 with the following default settings:

Red bars: Indicate a downtrend

Green bars: Indicate an uptrend

When the bars switch from green to red → the market trend changes from bullish to bearish, and vice versa.
In addition, the height of each bar also reflects the strength of the trend:

Taller bars = a strong trend. You may consider this as a signal to secure profits.

Shorter bars = a period of market accumulation with slow price movement. In such cases, it’s better to stay on the sidelines and wait for opportunities when the bars change color.

The Trend Lord Indicator MT4 can be applied to any currency pair or index.
Which timeframe should you use?
Although it can be applied to all timeframes, I’share recommends using it on higher timeframes to reduce market noise.
How to Use the Indicator
You can use this tool for both trend continuation and trend reversal trading strategies.

For trend continuation trades:

Sell when bars are red

Buy when bars are green

As long as the bar colors remain unchanged, you can hold your position to capture larger profits.

When bars change from green to red, it suggests the trend may be shifting from bullish to bearish.

In this case, wait for a price pullback and a bearish reversal candlestick before entering a short trade.

Using bar size to assess market conditions:

Small bars indicate accumulation and potential indecision in the market.

This means the price could break in either direction. It’s best to stay patient and observe until a clear breakout occurs before entering a trade.
